San Joaquin Valley ESRI User Group Meeting


What:

A free quarterly meeting of people, agencies and organizations doing GIS in the San Joaquin Valley. The meetings are designed to be a resource for sharing GIS knowledge, meeting others doing GIS, and keeping people up-to-date on ESRI products.  Online Registration.         

 

When:

Wednesday March 8 , 9 -12 noon 

 

Where:           

Peters Auditorium, University Business Center, Peters Building, California State University Fresno.  Directions to campus.

The Peters Building is on the far east side of the campus just about in the center campus map.

 

Parking:

Free parking is available in the University Business Center parking lot. The Peters Building and parking lot are on the far east side of the campus just about in the center campus map. Park only in the row immediately south of the ponding basin. Big orange letters spelling "UBC" are painted on the pavement.

Agenda:

Dr. Riadh Munjy of the Civil and Geomatics Engineering and Construction Management Dept at CSU Fresno speaking on the recently completed space shuttle mapping and how we might be able to use it

Mr. Eric Waldman, SW regional Sales Manager of Space Imaging, will be speaking on satellite imagery and will tell us about special pricing available to government agencies.

Mr. Jonathan Corbridge, our always-helpful ESRI regional representative, will be speaking on, and barring a technological catastrophe, demonstrating Routing Analyst.
